I love to work with brides who are referred by my past brides, especially when they’re a family member. When Melissa contacted me and told me she was the cousin of my past bride, Lauren, I was immediately excited and so happy to be able to work with another beautiful bride from the same awesome family. I met Melissa & Shawn for the first time online via Skype but in person on their wedding day, which is always a pleasant surprise. Melissa & Shawn both gave me a warm welcome and it didn’t take me long to see why they’re perfect for one another. The love and happiness they share for one another is palpable and I’m so honored that they allowed me the creative freedom to photograph their day as it unfolded.

They decided to wed in the newest space at The White Room, Villa Blanca, and I think it was the perfect location for their special occasion. The open, airy space is beautiful and the florals designed by Tiffany at Liz Stewart Floral Design complimented the space perfectly.
