Rain has been a frequent visitor at quite a few weddings this year so I’ve tried to embrace it, even though that’s sometimes hard for couples to do, especially when they’ve envisioned sunny skies of their special day. It definitely graced us with it’s presence at Lauren & Kris’s wedding day last month but the day was still amazing and working with the two of them was so much fun for me. Fortunately, they did a quick first look just before the rain started and we were able to take advantage of their ceremony space in the Villa Blanca for the rest of their portraits. Lauren had so many cute details and I learned that she loves monograms so there were a lot of personalized pieces throughout the day but one of my favorites were her Jack Rogers shoes, which were monogramed with her new married initials. They have been the sweetest couple and I am so happy that they chose me to document their beautiful wedding day. Working along side some of my favorite vendors was icing on the cake.
