Casa Monica Wedding | Kayla & Suraj
Like many Florida weddings, the weather often changes the best of plans. Â Kayla & Suraj originally planned to marry at The Oldest House but a few days before the wedding, the forecast didn’t appear that it would cooperate and that proved to be true on the big day. Â Fortunately, the Casa Monica was able to accommodate an indoor ceremony because of the rain. Â After the ceremony, the weather cleared up and we made a trip down to the Oldest House so Kayla & Suraj could take advantage of the beautiful courtyard for photos. Â I think they had the best of both worlds and the day really couldn’t have turned out any better. Â Kayla & Suraj are ballroom dancers so for their first dance, they surprised guests with a choreographed dance, complete with outfit change. Â I enjoyed working with them so much and love that they truly enjoyed the day, despite the changes. Â Everything was beautiful and it was a pleasure working with some of my favorite vendors.
