Casa Monica Wedding | Kayla & Suraj
Like many Florida weddings, the weather often changes the best of plans. Kayla & Suraj originally planned to marry at The Oldest House but a few days before the wedding, the forecast didn’t appear that it would cooperate and that proved to be true on the big day. Fortunately, the Casa Monica was able to accommodate an indoor ceremony because of the rain. After the ceremony, the weather cleared up and we made a trip down to the Oldest House so Kayla & Suraj could take advantage of the beautiful courtyard for photos. I think they had the best of both worlds and the day really couldn’t have turned out any better. Kayla & Suraj are ballroom dancers so for their first dance, they surprised guests with a choreographed dance, complete with outfit change. I enjoyed working with them so much and love that they truly enjoyed the day, despite the changes. Everything was beautiful and it was a pleasure working with some of my favorite vendors.
